Fresh out of ideas:
Although we with ADD ADHD are supposed to be blessed by extra creativity, I am totally out of ideas this week, so I am just posting some of Homey’s great tips.
thanks again, Homey.
from Homey:
If you’re feeling dissatisfied w/your life, don’t just sit there. Make a list of what’s bugging you & then start coming up with solutions.
Having trouble getting motivated? Just pick something & do it. Doing one thing will usually get you going.
If you get bad news, whether from a dr or mechanic or tech guy, get a second opinion if you can. Sometimes the 2ndopinion is different!
When you make an appointment with someone, be sure to get their phone number & make sure they have yours – in case something changes.
If your cell phone battery is getting low & you have access to a charger, CHARGE IT! You never know when you’ll need a full battery.
Organizing containers aren’t about appearance but how easy they are to use. If they’re not easy, it won’t matter how pretty they are.
If you find you need something frequently in multiple locations (i.e. cell phone charger), considering purchasing extras for each location.
Don’t save bad or duplicate photos! Delete them!!!
If someone offers you something for free that you DON’T need, don’t take it. You don’t need it but someone else might. Just say no!
If you have something you need to do that you’re dreading, JUST DO IT! You’ll feel so much better. I know this from personal experience.
Your normal daily planning strategy may not work for EVERY day. If you need to plan differently based on your schedule, DO IT. It’s okay.
A little at a time gets the job done! Just because you don’t have a block of time doesn’t mean you can’t work a few minutes here & there.
If you’re especially distractible, you might need to set MULTIPLE timers (like three, four or five) at slightly different intervals.
It doesn’t matter how many tasks you complete if you’re doing the wrong ones or have them out of priority.
doug and have a happy fourth!
