ADHD and Corona Virus, wouldn’t either one be enough?  

I hope you are safe and well and finding some way to make use of this strange time.  Although we’re all waiting for things to return to normal,  I fear that this may be the new normal.

Personal Notes O the Day:

  1. I’m starting on draft 11 of the new ADHD book. This is the one to replace the excess duplicate tips (I think one duplication may be OK; that’s how we learn.) I’ll need a draft 12 to clean up errors from the changes, and maybe a 13 to make sure.  It’s gonna be a while.

         I was procrastinating on this because I hadn’t figured out how to do it; now I have and I’m ready to start.

 

  1. I just found out that my print books weren’t selling on Amazon – because they were never published on Amazon! I managed to fix that.  (Don’t buy the 365 book there, the new book will replace it.)

 

  1. I’m going to take a 5 day spiritual retreat (in house) starting Sunday. No computer, iphone, or TV. Will still do things with my wife, and maybe still play guitar.  I think it’s going to be difficult but rewarding.

    Good idea with the retreat! Good luck! 🙂
    I once cancelled netflix because all I did was watch stuff I’d already watched. After a couple of months I had to give up, because I was doing the same with youtube. Netflix wasn’t the problem. :p But it’s a good idea to “go blank” and re-add stuff into your life, see what was missing or what was too much.

    I was at home for 2 months (lay-offs) and I’ve been back to work. During the 2 months at home, I kept the place tidier than usual and developed new strategies for it. For the last 10 days or so that I’m back to work, I’ve incredibly managed to keep some of the habits. Even my sleep and my level of tiredness are more level now. It was like one big reboot for my brain.

      wonderful; i was just reading a similar idea. the lady would go on vacation and when she got home she’d dispose of everything she’d packed but hadn’t used. It obviously wasn’t essential.
      I think you used your time off as a retreat, and like me, are carrying things forward into an improved life. I’ll blog about this next.

    Good idea on the spiritual retreat. I’m wondering if that’s something that would either help me or finally be makes me go insane.
