They’re both in the kitchen.

You open a door on both of them.

You put things in both of them.

Do you see where I’m going with this?

A Natural Mistake

They really do look a lot alike.  Don’t they?

So wouldn’t it be only natural that someone might ——–?

Or do you think maybe it has something to do with ADD ADHD?

Inattention

If we are boys, we  are more likely to have the mixed type of ADD ADHD.

As we pass adolescence, our hyperactivity diminishes, although it doesn’t vanish.  There is usually enough of it left to be annoying to other people.  But our inattention symptoms predominate and cause us the most trouble.

Girls are more likely to have the inattentive type from the beginning.  And they may get worse in young adulthood and even worse after menopause.  But let’s hope not.

The meds can help but we still need strategies, and even then we are unlikely to achieve perfection.

Thanks Bryan.

Attempt to Use Twitter O the Day:

This #ADD #ADHD post is supposed to show up on #adhdadults and #adhdstrategies or #addstrategies.  I’m still a little confused.  Do you know something about Twitter?

I’m female and have combined type. Hyperactivity got worse during puberty but inattentive issues improved.

And yesterday I poured cereal in my coffee cup.
