Confession:
On Friday, I stood up my friend for our monthly breakfast appointment.
I felt badly about that plus I really enjoy our meetings.
At our last meeting, I’d written the next appointment time in my appointment book, but I’d only written the time, 8:30.
I’ve been looking at that 8:30 Friday for a month, trying to figure out what it was about. Never got it. I do this fairly often, plus when I do write down the information, often I can’t read it later.
Strategy:
New rules – always write down the whole thing and make sure it’s legible. Double check it before I close the appointment book.
It’s like I double check that I put the credit card back in my billfold every time I use it. This has become a habit, and it works.

this is actually very interesting, be sure to read the discussion to see what’s really going on!
question o the day:
Which ADD ADHD symptom causes you the most trouble?
I’m trying to figure out my answer; there’s so many.
Distraction.
Overwhelm.
Difficulty handling change.
Oops – you only said one.

homey – yeah, it’s hard to pick just one, but it looks like distraction may be the winner. Thanks for responding.

that would be another mess up again, but I think the one year thinking of is the one where I messed up and put it to early and stopped it? Thanks.
