For those of us with ADD or ADHD, ADDerWorld.ning.com is a great assett. Ratan hit it on the head again there :

I have got into the routine of de-cluttering when I am having high energy levels, usually at the beginning of day.
I do this for 15 minutes almost every day. I feel good doing this as well and that’s an added bonus!
Note that Ratan has a routine, great for ADD or ADHD, that he declutters at the time he has the most energy, that he has a time limit on it so that it doesn’t become a burdensome chore and is a small step, and that with ADD or ADHD, when things are less cluttered we function better and feel better. And it gets him off to a good start in the morning; he has accomplished something right off the bat.

My apologies about the free e book; amazon informs me (now!) that the program won’t be up and running for a few weeks yet.

i think this is a good strategy as a way to start the day, (as long as it doesnt get overwhelming). get the decks clear and get something done, and then you’re ready to move on.
thanks for the comment

Clutter definitely is a problem for me, too. Fortunately we don’t have much of it. But my morning routine is to immediately go through the house and put everything back the way it’s supposed to be, tidy and sweep. Then I can think about tackling my to-do list.
