The Daytrona strip is a new gift for ADD or ADHD. It’s working great, once I learned to take it off at 4 PM, no matter what time I put it on, so I can sleep at night. I cut the strip length ways in thirds, and put a piece on somewhere that is not hairy (enough about that). Since the ritalin is absorbed thru the skin, I skip the mild stomach upset I was getting from the pills. There maybe still is a little jitteriness and hard to settle down or relax, but that presumably can be controlled by cutting the strips thinner. I may experiment by trying a fourth of a strip. And anyway, it’s so mild that I’m not positive that it’s really there.
Benefits I notice are better focus and concentration, better drive and motivation, it is easier to get started on something (like this post), and more energy late in the day than I was having.
The main problem is remembering to put it on and to take it off. The iPhone alarm is helping with the taking off, as long as I remember to set it.
So the strip gives finer control of dose and timing and less side effect than the ritalin pills.

ps Amazon has a new program, Matchbook, where I am giving you a kindle e book free if you buy or have bought the print book, Your Life Can Be Better. I just signed up so it should be available later today or tomorrow.
ps On wise advice, I have quit putting the posts in blue and in the larger font. Does it matter to anyone?? Would appreciate feedback ( as always)
Thank you for changing the font. My brain notices things like that just enough to siphon a little brain power away from the reading task, and it makes it harder to read and derive meaning.

Hi, I like the black font – interestingly, I use the larger blue font myself and may need to rethink this. As always, I love your tips!
