New Information — ADD Tip o the Day 410

You don’t have to have ADD or ADHD to benefit from this:

Did you know that if you fill up a big rectangular plastic tub with water, 0h, like maybe to soak your foot in or something, and heat it real hot in the microwave, and maybe you overfilled it a little, and you pick it up by the sides instead of by the top, that the whole thing can collapse and that water will go all over everywhere?

I didn’t.

good post on motivation etc   clik

my granddaughter is visiting us and says i should tell you that “Maggie is the best person on the planet”.  she also suggested that the next book i write, after the new ADD book, Living Daily ADD or ADHD, is published, possibly soon, should be How Awesome Are My Grandchildren.

I’m thinking about it.

some days have stormy skies.

About doug with ADHD

I am a psychiatric physician. I learned I have ADHD at age 64, and then wrote two ADHD books for adults, focusing on strategies for making your life better. Your Life Can Be Better; strategies for adults with ADD/ADHD available at amazon.com, or smashwords.com (for e books) Living Daily With Adult ADD or ADHD: 365 Tips O the Day ( e-book). This is one tip at a time, one page at a time, at your own pace. It's meant to last a year. As a child, I was a bully. Then there was a transformation. Now I am committed to helping people instead abusing them. The Bully was published in January, 2016. It's in print or e book, on Amazon.

I did know that would happen – probably because I’ve already done something like that before. I learn everything the hard way!

And grandchildren are pretty awesome. I have two of my own and they’re amazing.

Wow you must have a really big microwave.

I like the article, I am working hard and beginning to make some progress on exactly that–just doing “something” to get started instead of avoiding because of perfectionism and overwhelm. It feels good.
