Multitasking — ADD Tip o the Day 373

With ADD or ADHD, we often aren’t aware of what’s happening (tho I’m not sure this is limited to ADD/HD).

There I was, cruising down the highway at 72 mph.  Listening to the radio, squeezing a cork in my free hand to build up my grip, and rehearsing a psalm in my mind.

Suddenly it hit me — “I’m multitasking!!!”

With ADD or ADHD we’re supposed to be extra good at this.  Is it a good thing?  Maybe it would safer to just uni-task at driving?  But on the other hand (please note that this is a very subtle pun here; you’ve been alerted), but on the other hand I’m pretty sure that squeezing the cork helps me to focus better.
