Things I am not good at —- ADD Tip o the Day 278

1. sports – lack coordination, not much I can do about it but am improving a little at balancing on one foot (sposed to help ADD or ADHD???)

2. technology —- got book – i phone, the missing manual–  quite good, hard for me to understand, forcing self to start at beginning and work thru it.  ready to tackle i cloud.

3.  waiting in line –  but now I have cards and can review Psalms or Spanish

4. hand writing  — amazing  (all the way up to really bad) by paying attention and by learning how to make l,r, and e. a miracle.

5. etc. – but that’s the main ones, let’s not be too critical here.  It’s best to capitalize on our strengths; our weaknesses are not really going to get that much better no matter how hard we try.

About doug with ADHD

I am a psychiatric physician. I learned I have ADHD at age 64, and then wrote two ADHD books for adults, focusing on strategies for making your life better. I just published my first novel, Alma Means Soul. Your Life Can Be Better; strategies for adults with ADD/ADHD available at amazon.com, or smashwords.com (for e books) Living Daily With Adult ADD or ADHD: 365 Tips O the Day ( e-book). This is one tip at a time, one page at a time, at your own pace. It's meant to last a year. As a child, I was a bully. Then there was a transformation. Now I am committed to helping people instead abusing them. The Bully was published in January, 2016. It's in print or e book, on Amazon.

I am with you on that handwriting bit. So glad I can type most of my life away instead of having to write. 🙂 Looking for the book on Amazon now, glad I stumbled upon your blog, thanks!!
