Slogans —- ADD Tip o the day 224

We all have self talk, don’t we? It can harm us or be a useful tool.

These are some slogans I’ve found useful in self talk:

1. Do it now, do it right, do the hard part first.

2. I can only do what I can do.

3. Just plug away.

4. One thing at a time.

5. Does it really matter?

6. Is this the best use of my time right now?

7. I have as much time as anyone else.

These are all discussed in the book; I may go into them in future blogs.  Just think of a wise loving aunt or uncle giving you good advice, and say it to yourself.
