I read one of the paragraphs in the little blue book nearly every time I come in or out of the office. It helps me keep on track and it’s uplifting. I just noticed that I tend to rush through or even rush past the last sentence of the paragraph. Probably this is part of why I have trouble understanding directions, and may cause other problems too
The strategy is to be aware of this tendency and slow down. We coping with ADD or ADHD generally are not strong on patience and our attention doesn’t last long.
