One of the worst things about ADD is feeling driven so much of the time, like there is giant fly-wheel inside that won’t stop, that I have so much to do, so much pressure and have to keep going and pushing and can’t relax. That’s how it was this morning. I had to stop, sit down, take a deep breath, pray, make a list and remember that no matter how many things I need to do, I can only do one thing at a time.
for those of us coping with ADD or ADHD, the thought, “I have so much to do” is a red flag. We are in trouble, and need to regroup.
