“Bill”, the lazy slob — ADD Tip o the day 140

How many of you read today’s Annie’s mailbox (the new Ann Landers), “Husband’s laziness irritates his wife”?  How many of you figured it out?

“I have to remind him frequently to pick up after himself and finish what he started.  He leaves all the cabinet doors open and throws his clothes and other belongings all over the living room.”

Ring any bells?  Annie blew this one (she’s usually pretty good).  She says “He knows he’s a slob, and he’s rebelling.”  Well, that might actually be accurate now that I think about it, but you and I know what’s really going here, don’t we.

I’m too busy writing blogs to send Annie a letter, but be my guest.


too often those trying to cope with ADD or ADHD don’t know they have it, or are not willing to admit it.  sad.  “Bill” and Mrs. Bill could profit from reading Melissa Orlov’s book on the effect of ADD on marriage, and of course, Your Life Can Be Better, once it’s published.
