If we are coping with ADD or ADHD, we have heard that all our life:”You need to try harder!”
We learned to say it to ourself.
Problem is, it doesn’t work. What we need is to try smarter, which with ADD means strategies.
Rule number 5 of human behavior: if what you’re doing isn’t working, you will try doing more of it. like when you were crying because they’d spanked you so they spanked you again to make you stop crying.
