Couldn’t find my glasses. I take them off to use the computer, and had been using two computers, so I looked carefully in each place. Carefully because sometimes I don’t see things. And I say that if I don’t have my glasses I can’t see to find my glasses -ha ha ha.
No glasses. Looked all over. Asked my wife if she’d seen them. She offered to help look but I told her to wait, and went and looked everywhere again.
Then I found them – on my face.
strategy 1. if looking for glasses, look on face first
strategy 2. if wife offers help, say “yes”, not “wait”
strategy 3. if looking for anything, look in most obvious place first
