I just finished draft 17 for the book. I’d thought it would need a little tweaking, maybe a typo here and there, maybe a little polishing at a few points. Wrong!
A lot of tweaking, and several sections needed complete rewriting, cause they were awful, and there was a lot of reorganizing, stuff just out of place. Now this is amazing. How can I have read it 16 times and still have this bad stuff in it????
Sometimes we just don’t see it. That’s one of the reasons we need family and friends, reviewers and editors, therapists and ADD coaches.
Now I’m starting draft 18, hope it will just need a little tweaking—
