Stress — ADD Tip o the day 100

What do we do when things get stressful?  We focus on the problems and forget to do the things that help us handle stress!

Our first week of vacation was a little rough; some things weren’t going well.  After a while, I realized that I wasn’t doing my prayer time, as I usually don’t on vacation, and I wasn’t doing my daily psalm, and I wasn’t referring to the blurbs in my little blue book like I do frequently at home.  I started doing those things and the stress went away.  The problems went away too, gradually, but those practices took care of the stress.

When we are trying to cope with ADD or ADHD it is harder to deal with problems, and we have more of them because the ADD or ADHD causes them, or causes us to cause them.  We need to have and use tools to handle the stress.

Monet got cataracts and after that he did some of his best work, focusing more on the color than on detail.  I think I go that right.

This is blog 100!  I hope they are being helpful, and I hope they inspire you to get the book, and I hope I can keep doing them.
