“I have lots to do today”, I’m saying to myself, and I’m feeling overloaded. So why am I telling myself this lie? I only have one thing to do- finish this blog post.
When I’m finished, I can look at my to do list, and pick the next one thing to do, and I will only have one thing to do then, too. So I am not overloaded at all. It is a matter of perception, attitude and self talk. “We create our own reality.”
In coping with ADD or ADHD, we function better and enjoy life more if we use strategies to avoid feeling overloaded.
