“Let me find a scrap of paper to write that down on.”
I don’t do that anymore. Never could find that scrap after I’d written something down. Carry index cards in my pocket, with an organized system for using them. Have a steno pad by each phone. Can look back and find phone numbers.
Now, if I can only get myself to write them legibly!
Life can be better.
