enjoy the good! —-ADD Tip o the day 62

Life can be hard sometimes, for anyone, but especially if we are coping with ADD or ADHD. We manage life by really enjoying the good times; that makes it even out better.  But our ADD, either the symptoms or the consequences, can make that difficult to do.  We wind up stuck or frustrated or down on ourselves or overwhelmed.  Then we miss out on the good times and it all seems hard.  That is another reason we need the strategies, to help us stay out of those negative frames of mind and to enjoy the good times.  We also can miss out on spring is comingthe good times because we are locked into the bad times that will be coming.  Sufficient unto the day is the evil therof, so in the good times we need to be focusing on the good, not ruining them by worrying about the future.

Today is a really good day!

I hope it is for you too.

Part of that may be up to you; you can choose how to define the day -if it isn’t too bad.
